What got you started in R/C racing? I used to race atv motocross, A friend of mine broke his ribs and began racing electric off-road while he was healing. Sounded like a fun winter sport while no one was riding. Then everyone started getting their gas cars out and ready for spring and I have been hooked ever since.

What is your favorite r/c track? Real-Rc, Pleasant Hill, MO

What are your career goals? To have a more flexible schedule.

Favorite food? Anything my wife cooks.

What is the best memory in your r/c racing career? Food fight after qualifying at a Pro Series race in Oklahoma with Steve Hale, Taylor James, Ron Messick and Stringbean.

Favorite movie of all time? Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

What intrigues you most about R/C Gas Car Racing? I really like the camaraderie between the racers. I also like everything involved and needed in being one second faster.

Favorite type of music? Rock and Country.

Who do you admire most in the r/c industry and why? The track owners. It's not easy to build and maintain a track, try to make everyone happy with ever changing layouts thru all types of weather conditions. The guys that do it full time sacrifice allot of time, money, and effort to make us happy and keep our sport going. They want to race and work on their cars as much as us but can't because of upkeep of track and time spent helping and answering the questions from your local hobbyist. No matter how many products are out their with out the tracks we can not race. These guys took their hobby to the extreme and had a supportive enough family to stand by.

Favorite Full Size Car? Chevrolet Tahoe.

What are your R/C Racing goals? Not to let my speed plateau, I have only been racing for a couple of years and every year I keep getting faster. I want to learn all that I can, meet as many people as I can, and just enjoy the sport for as long as I can whether I make it to the top or not.

What are your goals outside of the r/c industry? I just want to live a happy, low stress, drama free life, I don't need to be rich, just happy. I want to be the best husband and father I can, and just be apart of a great family.

Who is your idol? I have allot but my biggest is my Grandfather.

If you had all the money in the world, what would your hobby be? You would probably see me at every race with some of my r/c friends, my treat of course. As far as the rest of my time, there are way too many things to list. I have always been involved in anything and everything and had more hobbies than I can handle.

If you could change one thing in r/c racing, what would it be and why? I think everything is managed and ran fine. I just wish it was easier getting people involved in it. Most don't understand what a good activity it is to be involved in for all ages. I had an easier time talking buddies into buying quads than coming to the R/C track with me.

How much do you charge for your autograph? Hand shake and a smile. I have only given one ever, to a older gentleman from South Africa at the '07 Pro Series Finals. He was overwhelmed, and honored by getting to race in the U.S. with all the U.S. drivers and was having everyone sign a t-shirt for him. It was cool meeting him.
