6/19 - X2 Truggy Set-up

Chad Bradley has posted his Standard Set-up for the soon to be released Jammin X2 Truggy. He says "This set-up works well at most tracks. The X2 Truggy is very stable and predictable with plenty of steering. It is easy to drive and is very fast ". He also says "The new Super Big Bore Shocks are very sensitive to ambient air temperatures, so stay on top of the dampening adjustments when the air temp changes." He is confident that the new truggy will be taking home plenty of trophies in the hands of drivers with all different skill levels.

Truck Nationals Race Report

by Gary Guest

Practice:
As only part of the team was there for day one of practice Chad Bradley, Gary Guest, Rick McCrery and Steve Hale hit the track and immediately got the X2 – CRT up to speed on the blue groove surface. Chad was posting some of the fastest times of the day and fine tuned our starting set-up from there.
The rest of the team arrived on day two of practice and the pits were busy as Taylor James, Matt Gosch and Aaron Pucci only had a partial day to get dialed in and ready for qualifying. The team worked together and everyone was ready fro qualifying.

Qualifying:
The Nationals track was tough and demanding on equipment, with a lot of big jumps and hard landings half of the team had electrical failures which caused some DNF’s in qualifying. With temperatures reaching the hundreds and the track getting rough spots the conditions got tougher as qualifying went on. Taylor James came through qualifying without any equipment failures and sat sixth overall. Chad Bradley, Gary Guest, Rick McCrery and Matt Gosch were all qualified into the same the semi final.

Mains:
When the dust finally settled in the semi final, Matt Gosch was the only team driver to finish as Chad Bradley and Rick McCrery had radio equipment failures along with Gary Guest braking after a hard crash landing.

A-Final:
In the A-Final Taylor James wasted no time and immediately went to the front of the pack, battling with the leaders for the first quarter of the race. Sitting in second position Taylor went into ninja mode and started reeling in the leader. He was getting excellent fuel mileage which put him in the perfect position to catch the leader and have a repeat national title. At the halfway point the field was getting smaller as the track was taking a toll on everyone’s equipment, Taylor seemed to be slowing also which caused him to just cruise around the track so he could finish the race.
James finished in the fourth position with a damaged truck and believe it or not only three drivers finished the A-Final without breaking, those three drivers ended up on the podium. The ROAR Truck Nationals was a tough race to conquer and only a few were able do it.

5/15 - New Jammin Red Clutch Springs

Keeping up with the trend of less weight within the drive train and less overall weight of the newest racing buggies and truggies, Jammin Products felt it necessary to develop a clutch that would match these power to weight characteristics. The new Jammin Red Clutch shoes are lightened to increase throttle response and are machined from a special aluminum alloy to promote long wear. The edges are beveled to reduce the mushrooming effect and the clutch shoe set includes 1.0mm springs, 1.1mm springs, and shims.
