3/31 - Jammin Products at the RCX Show

Team Jammin attended the RCX Show held in Pomona, California to show off some new products and "Meet N Greet" the customers. Not only did Team Jammin light up the show with the exciting show booth, the all new Mini CRT.5 was on hand in both Pro and RTR versions.

Jammin Products displayed action clips of some of the races held within the past year of the team at different events around the world. The video was put together by Five Spoke Films just for the show. These guys do such an awesome job with video, fans were asking to purchase the movie.

The Mini CRT.5 Pro was invited onto the Dirt Track to do a demo and surprised a lot of spectators with a performance worthy of the larger 1/8th scale truggies. Taylor James piloted the mini around for a few laps before showing the crowd the never seen before "Front Flip". Taylor landed it perfect in every attempt. The spectators literally could not believe it and the crowd around the Jammin booth was instantly packed with interested R/C enthusiasts.

Taylor James is not only one of the best R/C racers in the world, but he is quiet the professional. Taylor went all out at the show helping the Team put the booth together, spending time with the customers, doing demos, and he even had time to compete in the invitation only race at the show. Doing all this on his birthday. Happy Birthday Taylor!!!

Team Jammin would also like to thank Matt of Performance R/C in Spokane, Wa. for his super hero effort to make the show for Jammin Products a huge success.!!!

3/4 - Team Jammin takes Canadian Winternationals

The Jammin Racing Team trekked Northward into the knee deep snow country to compete in the Indoor Canadian Winternationals hosted by Red Deer RC. Gary Guest starred in qualifying by taking TQ honors in the Truggy and Buggy classes while Chad Bradley came through to take both A mains. Both drivers wheeled their Jammin X1-CRT truggies and X1-CR-FTE buggies to the top.

The hit at the entire race was the special appearance of Jammin Jay Halsey driving his newest creation, the Jammin CRT.5 Mini Truggy. Since there wasn't a class for the new mini, he competed with the 1/10th gas truck division. Realizing that it was not fair, Jay forfeited his 1st place back to the 1/10th class. Most say it would have been more fair to compete in the 1/8th classes. "I think we have a hit here. This new little truck is so fast, I get a kick out of debuting it at all these tracks just to see the look on fellow racers faces when I hit some of the larger obstacles that only the 1/8th classes are clearing." says Jammin Jay. If you look closely at the top picture to the left, the little orange and yellow spec in flight in front of the drivers stand is the CRT.5 clearing the Quad jump. That was a 38' gap. Matty Matt being the character that manages the "Northern Franchise" Jammin Team, Rick McCrery saw it fit that he draw a character likeness of him. Yea Rick can drive R/C cars and draw. Wow!
